Has a very simple rotation with very few damage ogcd's, likely best tank to learn fights on as it has very little upkeep to attend to in its rotation, letting it focus more on mechanics, with self heals to cover its own mistakes. The infamous 3rd healer, has 2 spammable ogcd self heals that dont interrupt its rotation. Really prefers to be the off-tank due to lack of built-in rotational self healing. Strongest invuln in terms of pure mitigation, just straight up take no damage for 10 seconds, no gimmicks, just longest cooldown among the invulns. Clemency is a strong, spammable heal on literally anyone in your party, can keep the paladin alive looong after they should have died, but you want to avoid using it like 98% of the time because it takes a damage gcd's place and drops your combo. Requiescat turns you into a pseudo caster for 10 seconds, but isnt really used to cheese downtime mechanics as much as it is just really handy when it and a downtime mechanic synch up. Rotation is strict and hates any deviation. Also has a great co-tank mitigation skill that synergizes with their personal mitigation, for dual busters. Trades 1 personal mitigation for having 2 (somewhat comparatively annoying to utilize) teamwide mitigations. Invuln drops you to 1 HP for 8 secs of invincibility, not much of a drawback in a harder fight where the mechanic would outright kill you anyways, so the sudden drop is expected, just scarier for an uncoordinated dungeon healer to deal with. Aurora has the same total healing potency as War's Equilibrium and Pld's Clemency, just over time, wont save your ass in a pinch, but can take some pressure off your healers. Slightly (slightly) weaker defensive cooldowns in Heart of Stone and Camouflage compared to other tanks' equivalents. Learning when to mitigate in advance is a necessity for it, as busters will often synch up with when its rotation gets real busy and weave spots are sparse without causing your ogcd's to go out of synch. Highest damage tank since its release, with a much more ogcd heavy rotation. So its not like you'll be throwing for picking the safer, easier options. The tanks unique niches make up why you'd play 'em more than their dps most of the time honestly, as all tanks currently only have about a 4% damage variance from top to bottom in terms of dps (about 500 dps).
